After a successful 13-year career as a software engineer, DeRahn transferred his skills of data analysis, problem solving, and scientific research, along with extensive knowledge of biochemistry and nutrition science, to the health industry. 

He has logged over 10,000 hours of in-the-field training and consulting experience, helping individuals of all ages and fitness levels reach their desired health goals. 

DeRahn has collaborated with numerous companies and organizations, such as: Jazzercise, Orange Theory Fitness, Boy Scouts of America, Rancho La Puerta and the San Diego Public Library System.
